OK, I try. The linknx.xml belongs to the linknx daemon. linknx reads this file when starting up and you may edit it through knxweb2 or edit it manually. So you won't find this file neither in knxweb nor in knxweb2.

In knxweb and knxweb2 you find linknx.php. This script is used to write to the linknx daemon from the web interface.

So, no you don't have to copy linknx.xml from linknx installation to the knxweb part. Just make sure you put the knxweb tree somewhere in the document tree of your webserver and make sure php scripts get executed by a php handler.
